Academic Hospitalist

Admit and manage hospitalist service patients. Provide medical treatment. Conduct clinical rounds with house staff, other trainees and observers. Develop and conduct research projects.

BC or completion of Internal Medicine residency. Must qualify for CT state medical license.

Endrocrinologist

Griffin Faculty Physicians is actively seeking an endocrinologist to join our group, providing high quality medical care to patients in an office-based as well as inpatient setting.

Examine, diagnose & treat patients with hormone imbalances & disorders of the endocrine system at Griffin Hospital & two Griffin Faculty Physicians’ facilities in New Haven County. Supervise one medical assistant.

BC in Internal Medicine and completion of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism Fellowship.

Family Medicine Physician

Griffin Faculty Physicians is actively seeking a board-certified physician to join our group, providing high quality primary care in an office-based setting.

Examine, obtain medical history and treat acute and chronic illnesses; order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests; create treatment plans, and involve patients and family members in those plans; initiate appropriate specialty referrals; collaborate on improvement in care delivery and service with management, other physicians and staff; work with care team to close care gaps and improve quality measures; participate in Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) initiatives; work with practice management to ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements; and provide on call coverage within the primary care group.

Graduation from accredited medical school (MD or DO); graduation from accredited Family Medicine residency program; valid and unrestricted Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain; valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate; and board-certified in Family Medicine.
